Three cases in Somnath suicide incident handed over to CID

Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy on Tuesday said that three cases registered in connection with the Surathkal suicide incident involving Somanath have been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID)

Three cases in Somnath suicide incident handed over to CID

The first case was registered against the deceased following a complaint alleging harassment of a couple at a beach. The second case relates to his unnatural death, while the third case was registered based on a complaint filed by the deceased's wife.

With all three cases transferred to the CID, further investigation will be conducted by the agency to establish the facts and examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
